Generous welcome at a charming inn
An extremely charming guesthouse with great hosts. We received a warm welcome and were provided a lovely, spacious, well-appointed room with front row view of Ballyholme Bay. Delicious breakfast choices beyond the usual, great eclectic decor and free parking. Easy access to Belfast by car or train (about 30 mins), and a good base for visiting Giants Causeway and the Antrim Coast if you want to sleep a bit away from the typical tourist route. Bangor is a chill (or sleepy) seaside town with decent pub food, a couple of good Indian restaurants, and a sweet pub/music venue at The Courthouse.
